There are some showers & thunderstorms ongoing this morning to the north & sough of Lubbock. Lubbock is seeing cloudy skies & muggy conditions now. Storms are possible through 7:00 am. Then, after noon, we will see drier air begin to pile into the South Plains. Clouds will clear & we’ll see sunny skies & a high of 81°. Wind at 15-25 mph.
Tonight will see mostly clear skies, so that will make for a chilly start for your Saturday. A cold front will drop our temperatures down in the afternoon. Lubbock is going to see a below average high of 75°. Wind will be at 5-10 mph, so it’s shaping up to be a beautiful Saturday! The weather will be great for Lubbock County’s Relay For Life, which is from 10:00 am-10:00 pm at Lubbock Christian!
