The skies are clear this morning, but the wind is already up. The wind is now at 10-15 mph, but later today it will be sustained at 20-25 mph, with gusts to 45 mph. There will be mostly sunny skies this afternoon, with highs climbing all the way up to the upper 80s! The Rolling Plains will see highs in the low 90s today!
A cold front will push through the area by tomorrow morning. This will allow for us to start at 50°, but we’ll feel that cooler air by the afternoon. Lubbock is looking at a high of 74° tomorrow, which is still above normal. The wind tomorrow will be from the north-northeast at 10-15 mph.
