Although we’re looking at clear skies now, the clouds will be on the increase throughout the afternoon hours. Isolated storms at 10% can’t be ruled out into the Rolling Plains this afternoon. The rest of us will stay dry & cooler. Yesterday we reached a high of 90°, but today highs will drop down into the upper 80s, thanks to the clouds this afternoon.

The clouds will stick around for the day tomorrow, as well. We’ll get more peeks of sunshine, so the high temperature will be allowed to climb back up to 90°. That is still below the average high of 91°. Isolated storms, at only 10%, can’t be ruled out tomorrow afternoon. Again, the best ingredients for those few storms will stay off the Caprock. Highs there will be in the low 90s, too.
