Portions of the Rolling Plains actually saw some measurable rainfall yesterday evening. Now, we are just looking at cloudy skies to start off the morning. The clouds will stay this afternoon, with little sunshine peeking through. There will be isolated storms across the area this afternoon. Coverage will only be 10% & should be less than what we saw Monday. The high in Lubbock will be 88°.
Much of the same expected tonight, with the clouds staying with us & veryfew storms lingering. We’ll see a cloudy day by Wednesday afternoon, with some sunshine at times. Once again, thanks to monsoonal moisture, we’ll see 10% coverage of isolated thunderstorms. Things aren’t looking great, but a few spots off the Caprock will pick up a few hundredths of an inch of rain. Highs will, once again, be in the upper 80s.
