This weekend actually brought some showers & thunderstorms to the area, which is always great to see! We are seeing more rain to the west & southwest of Lubbock. Anywhere west of Lubbock will have the best shot at seeing more rain & storms today. Coverage will be at 30%, with Lubbock being on the fringe of the storms. With the clouds, highs will be in the low 80s, upper 80s in the Rolling Plains.
Tomorrow is going to see a similar set-up to day, thanks to a low pressure system staying over in New Mexico. The best moisture will be across our western counties during the day Tuesday. Coverage of thunderstorms will be at 40% tomorrow, with Lubbock being on the more questionable side of things. Skies will stay cloudy, so highs will be in the low 80s again. Upper 80s will be in the Rolling Plains, thanks to more sunshine than clouds.
