More rain fell across the area on Monday, which is always great to see! That system responsible for those showers & storms is going to hang around for the next few days, as will the rain & storms. Much like Monday, the best location to see the rain today will be anywhere on the Caprock. Locations off the Caprock will see more isolated storms & mainly cloudy skies. Lubbock will see a high of 81° today, with 40% for those showers & storms.
The set-up will be very similar tomorrow. That system will keep pumping in moisture to our western counties. There will be heavy rain at times on the Caprock. The showers & storms will be at 40% on Wednesday, with more isolated storms off the Caprock. The cloud cover will help to keep highs down below average, which we love in the summer! Lubbock will see a high of 82° tomorrow afternoon.
