After a near-average day on Sunday, southwest wind will bring in warmer air this afternoon. From the inside looking out, it will seem like a great day. The wind is going to make things feel cooler, as it will be blowing at 15-20 mph. Otherwise, the sun will shine & highs will venture up to the low 60s across the area today.
A cold front will move in by tomorrow morning. There will be a mixture of clouds & sunshine during the day Tuesday. The wind is going to stay elevated, at 10-15 mph, so even though Lubbock will get to a high of 45°, things will feel much colder than that. So, we’re talking about it feeling like the upper 30s tomorrow. Get the warm clothes out tomorrow, because you’ll need them then & you will most certainly need very warm clothes by the end of the week.
