Things are starting out mainly clear out there. There will just be a few clouds in the skies this afternoon. We will see a lot of sunshine, with highs in the upper 60s. Sounds great, right? Well, the wind is going to be a big problem today. Sustained wind this afternoon will be at 35-45 mph. Gusts will easily get to 55-60 mph, with a lot of blowing dust in the area.
We will even have the wind staying up at 15-25 mph overnight. A cold front will drop in later today, which will make things colder by tomorrow. We will start out in the low 30s, but highs tomorrow will only reach the upper 40s. There will still be mostly sunny skies, the wind is going to be at 10-20, so it will feel cooler than it actually is.
