Things are going to be clear & slightly chilly this morning. Most locations west of Lubbock are starting the day in the low 30s, with some mid 30s to the east. The sun is going to shine, again, this afternoon. Expect a day similar to Thursday, with Lubbock seeing a high of 69°, with light wind.
The weekend is going to be pretty nice for outdoor events. There will be some fog tomorrow morning, which will hang around for several hours. This will actually help to keep temperatures in check, as some of that cooler air stays at the surface. The fog will clear by the afternoon tomorrow. There will be a lot of sunshine & Lubbock is expected to see a high of 64°.
