We are looking at a much more calm start to this day, compared to what we were seeing on Tuesday. The low pressure that brought the rain & snow to the area is well off to the east, bringing severe weather to the Carolinas. We will be seeing dry air throughout the area this afternoon. There will be sunny skies, wind at 10-15 mph & a normal high of 61°.
A weak cold front will move through the area overnight. That is only going to bring in some slightly cooler air by tomorrow morning. The wind will still stay at 10-15 mph, we will still see plenty of sunshine, but highs will fall below normal to 55° in Lubbock. The Rolling Plains will see highs in the low 60s & the northwestern counties will see low 50s for highs.
