We are starting out with clear skies here in Lubbock. The temperature is in at 31°. There are some upper 20s to the west of us. Now, the wind that’s around this morning will make the air feel like we are down into the mid 20s. So, dress accordingly as you head out the door this morning.
By the afternoon, high pressure to the southwest is going to help pump in some very warm conditions. The wind will be from the south and southwest. So, this afternoon is looking like we’ll see highs in the mid 60s for Lubbock, about 10° higher then where we were on Thursday. We’re looking at nice outdoor weather this weekend.
