If you didn’t get a chance to get out and enjoy the warm weather this weekend, you certainly will have tons of chances to do so this week. We will start the week with sunny skies, wind at 10-15 mph and very warm air over the South & Rolling Plains. Lubbock is looking at a high of 76° this afternoon. There will be some 80s scattered around over in the Rolling Plains!
A cold front will end the warm weather by 6:00-7:00 am tomorrow morning. Not only will it bring in some cooler air, but it will also kick up the wind to 20-30 mph all day long. We will still see sunny skies & dry air, but our highs will fall down to the low 60s. The Rolling Plains will even see highs dropping into the mid & upper 60s for tomorrow.
