We are seeing another cold start to the day. Teens are showing back up to the northwest. That is due to the clear skies & light wind. Lubbock is down to 22° & cold drop lower before sunrise. We will see plenty of sunshine this afternoon, which will help to bring in warmer air. Lubbock will see a high of 54° for today.
Tonight will be another clear, cold night, with light wind. That will allow for Lubbock to drop down to 28° Friday morning. We will likely see lows in the lower 20s in the northwest. So, be sure to bundle up! It will be slightly cooler tomorrow afternoon. We will still see the sunshine, but it’s looking like Lubbock will get to 53°. Wind tomorrow will be at 15-20 mph from the north-northwest. That is why it will be cooler.
