We’re starting off the day with partly cloudy skies in the area. The cooler air is staying in our western counties this morning, with temperatures in the low 40s for most there. There are actually several places in the in the 50s now, which tells you that it will be a warm afternoon. Skies will be mostly sunny today, that wind will stay at 15-20 mph, gusting 30-35 mph at times. Lubbock is going to get to 77° today.
Overnight skies will remain clear, but the wind will stay at 15-20 mph, so it will not be a cold start to Wednesday at all. We’ll dip down to 47° before 8:00 am tomorrow. Skies will actually be sunny, with few, if any, clouds. Wind will be coming in at 10-15 mph, some gusts reaching 25 mph. Expect another warm afternoon, with a high of 76°.
