We are seeing clear skies in the South & Rolling Plains again this morning. The good news, is that it won’t be as cold as what we saw on Monday. Lubbock is coming in at 29° right now. We shouldn’t see readings as low to the northwest, but it’s still pretty cold out there. The wind will begin to increase by this afternoon. Lubbock will see a high of 67°.

After another clear & cold night, we are going to see another sunny & dry day for Wednesday. But, we will really see the effects of this ridge of high pressure tomorrow. Very warm air will begin to stream into the South & Rolling Plains. Lubbock is going to see a high of 77°! Locations to the east will actually see highs in the low 80s! We are moving toward the middle of February & we’re talking about 80s for highs!
