We are looking at clear skies & light wind in Lubbock this morning & really all throughout the South & Rolling Plains. That is why we are seeing the cold air. There are more teens showing up to the northwest, too. We will actually see plenty of sunshine this afternoon. That will help us to see a warmer day. Lubbock will get to 55° this afternoon.
It will be cold again overnight tonight with clear skies & light wind. But we will begin to see much warmer air in the area for Wednesday. Lubbock is looking at a high of 59°. The normal is 54°. The Rolling Plains will begin to see highs in the low & mid 60s for tomorrow afternoon. Light wind will be around the area, as well.
