We had a quiet Monday after all the rain & storms we saw over the weekend. Expect much of the same for this afternoon. There will be increasing showers, mainly along the state line this afternoon, at 10%. Those showers will try to spread east this evening & overnight. Overnight coverage will be 20%. Expect highs today to be in the low 50s with light wind.

After the showers clear out tomorrow morning, the clouds will clear & we’ll see mostly sunny skies. The wind will be light from the southwest, which is going to bring warmer air across west Texas. So, highs will be able to get up into the upper 50s. Temperatures will hold in the mid & upper 50s in the Rolling Plains, because they’ll see clouds longer than the western counties. So, western counties will make a run at 60° tomorrow.
