We are seeing some clouds across the area. Those clouds are keeping the warmer air on the Caprock. By warm, I mean low-to-mid 30s. Where the skies are more clear, readings are in the 20s across the Rolling Plains. We will see the clouds clear & see a lot of sunshine this afternoon. Highs will, once again, reach the low 60s. Wind is going to stay at 15-25 mph.
A cold front is going to pass through the area tomorrow morning. That will bring in gusty winds & much colder air. We will still see sunny skies tomorrow, but the cooler air will keep highs in the low 50s. The wind is going to stay at 15-25 mph tomorrow, but from the north-northwest. That is why we are going to see the colder air. Wind from that direction sends down the cold air from the Rockies.
