The wind is going to be howling once again this afternoon. That is going to be the main problem as we move into the weekend. Skies will be mostly sunny today, as we’ll see highs in the mid 60s area-wide. That wind will be sustained at 25-30 mph, gusting to 45 mph once again. So, be ready to have everything blowing around this weekend!
Tomorrow will see a cold front passing through early in the morning hours. That will increase clouds throughout the day. There will be isolated showers in the area, but only at 10%. So, just have an umbrella in the car if you’re headed out during the day tomorrow. Highs will be lower, as Lubbock will reach 58°. That’s actually above average, but it will feel cooler with the wind at 25-30 mph.
