We are looking at cloudy skies to start this Tuesday. There is also some very cold air in place, thanks to a departing low pressure system. Some very light snow is showing up on the radar in Parmer, Castro, Bailey & Lamb Counties. This is, in all likelihood, not reaching the ground. At least not all of it. There is a pretty good dry layer in place a few thousand feet above the ground. That will prevent most of this from reaching the surface.

We will continue to dry out throughout the morning. As expected yesterday, any precipitation will be gone by mid-morning. We will continue to see cloudy skies this afternoon, with cold air staying in place for all location in the viewing area. Lubbock is only looking at a high temperature of 43° today. The normal high is 55°.
