Get ready to bundle up, because it’s cold out there! We’re seeing readings in the teens to the west & northwest of Lubbock to start the day! Even though we’ll see sunny skies today, the highs will remain below average. Lubbock’s average high is 55°, but we will only reach 50° this afternoon. Western counties will see highs in the upper 40s. That cold front that came in yesterday really did its job!
Tomorrow will be even colder in the afternoon. Another cold front will move in tomorrow morning. This will bring in more clouds than sunshine during the day. Thankfully wind will be light, so it won’t feel any worse than it will be. Lubbock will only get to a high of 45° tomorrow. Highs will stay in the low 40s to the west & mid-to-upper 40s in the Rolling Plains. Stay warm out there!
