This week will begin as the weekend ended, sunny skies & warm conditions. Unfortunately, dry conditions will prevail this week. We always need rainfall in west Texas, but we will not be looking at any this week. Expect sunny skies this afternoon, as Lubbock will get to a high of 70°. The wind will be the only problem today, but it will be at 10-15 mph. We call that normal around here!
Tomorrow will be very similar to what we’ll see for today. Clear, sunny skies will dominate the area & the wind will stay at 10-15 mph. However, we’ll see a warmer afternoon. Expect a high in Lubbock of 71° tomorrow. Highs will be closer to 75° over in the Rolling Plains which is very warm for the heart of winter. I wouldn’t this warm air to continue through February, but at least the start of the new month will see warm conditions.
