It was another record setting day in Lubbock on Tuesday. We saw a high temperature of 107°, which broke the previous record of 105°, set in 1933! So, we have set records every day this work week. Today is still going to be sunny & hot in the area. Lubbock will be, once again, close to the record high. The record for today is 107° & we will reach 106°. There will be a stray, very isolated storm in the northern Rolling Plains this afternoon/evening.

Tomorrow is going to see a few passing fair-weather Cumulus clouds in the afternoon. Those will give us very few breaks from the blistering sunshine. Expect a mostly sunny afternoon, with a stray storm in the northern Rolling Plains. Lubbock will get to a high of 105°. The record high tomorrow is 108°. I am really hoping we stay below that! Just remember to stay safe out there in the heat!
