That high pressure system that is sitting right over Texas is keeping it warm this morning, as well as this afternoon.
We are going to look at typical July weather for the day today. Expect sunny skies, light winds & a high of 97° here in Lubbock. Winds will be bringing in drier air from the south-southwest. So, we will see dew points dropping out of the 60s. So, it’s looking like we will see a break from the muggy conditions, for once!
