Happy Friday,
We’re looking great this afternoon with temperatures through the 80s already. We’ll continue to heat up into the 90s with mostly sunny skies. We have high pressure sitting off in Southeast Texas, which means moisture is being picked up from the South and rotating in a clockwise rotation around this high. This is why we are seeing lots of moisture, evident in our dew points, and some isolated showers through New Mexico as well as in our Northwestern counties.
Conditions looking great to continue through the weekend and into next week. Temperatures will stay consistent in the 90s with mostly sunny skies. As this weaker cold front moves in by Monday, we may be affected with temperatures dropping a few degrees. Possible chance for showers and storms, but most of that should stay up North in the Panhandle.
Have a great day!
