This morning will see increasing clouds from the east as we start the day at 72°. Wind will stay light, so it is going to feel quite nice out there. The afternoon will be looking at mostly sunny skies, with the wind staying at 5-10 mph. Lubbock will see a high temperature of 89°. That is actually below the average for this time of year. I can’t rule out a shower, or storm in the area at 10%.
For Saturday, the wind is going to remain light, with mostly sunny skies. I can’t rule out some showers and storms in the area at 10%. Most will stay dry, but at least someone will get some rain Saturday afternoon. The rest of us will see highs below average, with a high of 91° here in Lubbock. Get out and enjoy the day, but watch for lightning with any storm that rolls in.
