Things are drier & comfortable to begin this Wednesday. However, the moisture is going to return to the area by this afternoon. We’ll notice the stickiness once again while outdoors. The skies will be sunny today, but there will be another round of isolated storms affecting 10% of the area. They will be those air mass storms that form with all of this moisture hanging around. Any storms will be gone by 10:00 pm.
Tomorrow is looking sunny, drier & breezy. That ridge of high pressure will begin to take affect over west Texas tomorrow morning. I am not expecting any storms, at least for a few more days. So, tomorrow, Lubbock will be see a high of 96°. The wind is going to be from the south-southwest, bringing in that drier air, at 10-15 mph. So, if you’ll be outdoors, just remember the sunscreen & to stay hydrated.
