If you’re sticking around the South Plains this week & not leaving for Spring Break, well, you will get some spring-like weather, that is for sure. Today is the exception. We’re actually watching a weak cold front move into the area this morning. It will keep highs just below average today. But, with the sunshine, it will feel warmer. Lubbock will get to 64° this afternoon, with wind at 10-15 mph.
Tomorrow morning will begin cool & calm. We’ll start the day with lows in the low 40s & cloudy skies. However, as skies clear & the sun comes back by mid-morning, warmer air will return. Expect mostly sunny skies in the afternoon with highs climbing up into the low 80s. The wind is going to remain at 10-15 mph, which will be the only issue in the forecast for Tuesday. After Monday, we’ll keep things very warm all the way through the weekend.
