Skies are clear as we begin this Thursday. Yesterday was the start of a nice few days here across the South Plains. Today is going to be a wonderful day to get outdoors. We’ll see abundant sunshine in the area with light wind. The average high for Lubbock is 63°. We will see a high of 62° out there today. It will feel warmer thanks to the light wind & all of that sunshine.
Tomorrow will continue to see sunny skies. However, the wind will return. Expect wind to be from the south at 15-20 mph all day long. There will be gusts to 30 mph at times. That southerly wind is going to help to keep highs actually right at the average here in Lubbock. We’ll get to 63° tomorrow. Not the best day to get outside, because of the wind, but it could be a lot worse, we know that!
