The wind is still blowing pretty good out there. We’re seeing sustained wind at 10-20 mph, with gusts still reaching 35 mph. Eventually today, the wind will be dropping to 10-15 mph. So, we will not be seeing the blowing dust on the horizon like Wednesday. The sun will be shining today, but we’ll see highs below normal. Lubbock will reach 65°.
Tomorrow, clouds will return to the area, but the sun will still dominate. The wind will kick back around to the south, at 15-20 mph. That southerly wind will bring back some warmer air to Lubbock & the South Plains. Highs will get a boost all the way up to 77°. Expect the Rolling Plains to see highs in the low 80s Friday.
