I hope everyone had a great Easter Sunday! We are starting out with clear skies & light wind on this Monday morning. The clear skies will stick around today, but the wind will be much higher. Sustained wind this afternoon will be between 10-20 mph, with gusts around 30 mph. That is just the start of a very windy week. We’ll see dry air, with a high of 76°.
By tomorrow, the warm air will really peak for the week. The sunshine stays, wind increases to 20-25 mph & we’ll see a high of 83° in Lubbock, with upper 80s in the Rolling Plains. The air will be dry & with the wind that we will be seeing, just remember to be smart around open flames. Fires can start & spread very quickly this week.
