You may notice that it’s muggy out there this morning. Well, there has been an increase in moisture to west Texas, thanks to an approaching low pressure system coming in from the west. This will keep the area under partly sunny skies this afternoon. High temperatures will still be well above normal, with Lubbock getting up to 76°.
After midnight, there will be some thunderstorms east of Lubbock, so in the Rolling Plains. Some of these thunderstorms will have large hail & damaging wind. That severe threat, with the hail & wind, will continue tomorrow afternoon & evening, from Lubbock & east. We will let you know if there are any warnings issued.
