Another cold front has been moving through the area in the last few hours. It has passed through all but the low Rolling Plains. Temperatures dropped into the mid 20s in our northwestern counties & are in the upper 40s in the southeast. We’ll continue to see temperatures drop in Lubbock through sunrise. So, be ready to dress warm this morning.
This afternoon will see clear, sunny skies. We’ll have cooler air in place, thanks to the cold front from this morning. The wind will begin to shift to the southwest by this afternoon, too. It will remain only at 5-10 mph, which is nice. Under sunny skies & light wind, Lubbock will reach a high of 68°. Much cooler than Monday, but we’re still going to be four degrees above average for today.
