There are cloudy skies and gusty wind to start off this Thursday. The clouds will stick around all day, thanks to a cold front that came through last night. We will feel the cooler air this afternoon, as highs will only reach the low 70s for Lubbock, upper 60s to the northwest & mid 70s in the Rolling Plains. Wind this afternoon will drop to 10-15 mph, but it will still make things feel cooler than it actually is.
By tomorrow, we can forget about cloudy & cool conditions, because the sunshine & warmer air comes back, even if it’s just for a day. The sunshine & southwest wind will help to bring in warm & dry weather. The high will be average tomorrow for Lubbock, which is 83°. There will be highs in the upper 80s in the Rolling Plains & upper 70s to the northwest. Wind tomorrow looks to be at 10-15 mph.
