We are going to see increasing clouds throughout this day. There is already moisture beginning to return to the South & Rolling Plains this morning. Highs today will be in the low-to-mid 80s, with that moisture making it feel muggy at times. That won’t do much until after midnight. That’s when a cold front will begin to push into the area. There will be showers & thunderstorms (at 30%) from midnight, through noon tomorrow. The rest of the day is looking cloudy, with a high of 67°.
By Sunday, we will actually get another round of showers & thunderstorms. There is a system coming in from the west. As it does, it will hit abundant moisture across the South & Rolling Plains. Things are coming together better today with most of the computer forecasts calling for rain. It’s looking like 30% of will get those storms Sunday. Heavy rain is possible with any storm we see. Highs will only be in the low 60s.
