It was very nice to see the rain over the weekend, as we desperately needed it. The cool air will take a break by this afternoon. Southerly wind will help to bring in warmer conditions for the entire area. Expect a partly sunny afternoon for Lubbock, as the high will climb up to 86°! Wind will be elevated, at 15-25 mph.
A cold front is going to push through the area by early tomorrow morning. This will drop highs WAY down for Tuesday-Thursday. The air will be feeling like mid-November, rather than mid-May! Clouds will be on the increase by tomorrow afternoon & evening. Isolated storms are possible in the northeastern Rolling Plains. Lubbock will stay dry, with a high of 71°.
