The showers & storms that rolled through the area yesterday evening & last night have since pushed off to the east. We are left with low clouds, but there is still moisture in the air, as temperatures & dew points are very close together across the entire area. The clouds will eventually thin out this afternoon. We’ll still see partly sunny skies, with a high of 66° in Lubbock.
The showers & storms will be very limited throughout the day today. Coverage is looking less than 10%. So we have seen the most rain that we will get out of this current system. Expect cloudy skies overnight, with patchy fog by the morning rush. Watch out for dense fog while heading to work & school tomorrow morning. Some roads may still be wet, too.
