There are clouds being blown in from thunderstorms down to the south of our area this morning. That is really the only cloud cover that we’re seeing so far. Today is looking to be mostly sunny & dry. The dry line will pass through Lubbock later this morning, pushing the dry air to the east & picking up the wind. Wind this afternoon will be at 20-25 mph. 95% of the area will stay dry. Isolated storms will be seen in Scurry & Kent Counties this evening.
Tomorrow, the dry line is going to be well east of our area. So, that means we’ll see sunny skies, dry conditions & wind. The entire viewing area will stay dry for your Friday. The wind will be at 10-20 mph in the afternoon. Highs will be reaching the low 90s this afternoon, but they will be dropping down to the upper 80s tomorrow. So, things will be closer to average for your Friday.
