It was nice to see the thunderstorms in the area last night. It’s always great to get rain this time of year. We will be looking at partly sunny skies for the day today. Our state line counties have the opportunity to see some isolated thunderstorms this evening. Coverage will be at 10%. Lubbock will see a high of 84° today.
There will be more numerous thunderstorms overnight, into the day on Tuesday. Heavy rain will certainly be a problem with any storms that slowly move into the area. So, keep the rain gear handy as you head back to work tomorrow. Coverage of storms is looking like 40% tonight & for the day tomorrow. The clouds & storms will keep highs down, with Lubbock only reaching 83° tomorrow.
