Thank you to all who have served this country past & present! There are many spots seeing patchy dense fog this morning. Visibility has dropped below a mile in Lubbock & in a few other locations. Be careful as you head out to start your Friday. The fog will lift by 9:00 am & we will be looking at partly sunny skies this afternoon. Lubbock will get to a high of 65° with light wind.
A weak cool front is going to move through the area tonight just after midnight. That will keep skies partly sunny for the day on Saturday. Originally, it looked like there would be light rain in the area, but now, that is not going to be the case. We will remain dry throughout the day tomorrow. Lubbock is looking to reach 60° tomorrow afternoon with light wind. So, it should feel close to the actual temperature.
