Lubbock set a new record high temperature for November 1 yesterday. The previous record was 85°, most recently set in 1994. Well, we topped out at 88° yesterday. Today will be much different thanks to a cold front coming through this afternoon & evening. That will bring in scattered thunderstorms for 40% of the area today. That will increase to 60% overnight, through 7:00 am. We’ll see a high temperature of 76° today.
Any showers we see for Thursday will be done by 9:00-10:00 am. Behind this system, expect cloudy skies to continue. Tomorrow is looking to be a cooler & breezy day, with Lubbock seeing a high temperature of only 63°. That will feel more like the mid 50s, thanks to the wind that we will be seeing across the area. So, dress warm tomorrow & through the weekend, as well!
