Well, here we are at the start of Thanksgiving week & things will be looking much different than what we saw a year ago. The skies will be sunny & the air will be much warmer this time around. This afternoon will actually see increasing clouds. But we will still be able to get to a high of 74° in Lubbock. The wind is going to stay elevated at 10-15 mph.

A weak, dry cold front will move through west Texas during the day tomorrow. The only affect it will have on the weather in the South & Rolling Plains will be on temperatures. We’ll be seeing highs staying in the upper 60s for the local highs. After the front passes, the skies will clear & we will be able to see temperatures drop down into the low 30s by Wednesday morning. That is going to be the only impact we’ll see from this cold front.
