Our atypical October weather pattern will continue today. Usually by this point in the month, we can count on cooler air in the afternoon, with highs below average. That will not be the case this year. We’ll see more clouds streaming in from the west today, helping to keep highs lower than where we were on Monday. Lubbock will see partly sunny skies, with a high of 78°, which is still above average.
The sunshine & warmer air will return for the day tomorrow. This will be the case through the end of the month. We’ll see a very weak cold front passing through the area tomorrow, which we won’t even be able to tell, except for the wind shift. Expect sunny skies, with a high of 84°. That will be ten degrees above average for tomorrow.
