Most of the area is actually starting out with warm air & clear skies. Temperatures off the Caprock are anywhere from the low 60s to the low 70s! Farther west, we’re seeing mid 50s to start this Thursday. There are clouds coming in from the west, which will mix with sunshine this afternoon. Expect another warm day, with highs in the upper 80s, once again. Locations to the east will see highs in the low 90s.
There will be isolated storms in the Rolling Plains, at 10%, this evening. A cold front will be coming in from the northwest. These storms will stick around through early tomorrow morning, once the front passes. Behind it, we’ll only be talking about highs in the mid 60s tomorrow afternoon, with wind at 15-20 mph, gusting to 35 mph. So, dress warm for the high school football games tomorrow night!
