We’re starting off with cloudy skies & even some fog in the area. Use caution while driving this morning. That fog will be gone by 9:00 am for most locations. Otherwise, today is going to stay cloudy. There will be isolated storms this afternoon, at 20%. So, certainly not like what we saw on Tuesday & Wednesday, but there will be locations getting storms this afternoon. Take the rain gear to those football games tonight. Lubbock will reach a high of 84°.
By tomorrow, there will be leftover storms through the afternoon hours. The good news is that the coverage of those storms is 10%. So, if you’re tailgating for the Texas Tech game in the afternoon, just have some rain gear in the car in case one of those storms moves over the city. Otherwise, we’ll stay partly sunny, with a high of 86°. The weather will be much better compared to last year’s opener!
