Things are quiet & calm, once again, as we begin this day. We’re going to see increasing clouds this morning, which will lead to partly sunny skies this afternoon. Those clouds will help to keep temperatures below average, again, for the day. Expect highs to be in the upper 70s in the area, with low 80s possible in the Rolling Plains.
This weekend will see more sunshine & much warmer air return to the South & Rolling Plains. The wind is going to increase tomorrow, between 10-15 mph. We will see sunny skies, with Lubbock getting to a high of 83°. Some locations may see a few sprinkles in the afternoon, but we aren’t going to see anything measurable on Saturday. This will be a good day to get outside & enjoy the nice weather.
