We have seen a sunny afternoon, after the clouds this morning. There were even some light showers in Scurry County early this morning. Now, the sun is shining & we’ll expect to see mainly clear skies through tomorrow morning. We’re in the low 60s right now, with temperatures dropping into the mid 30s by morning. The wind is expected to increase tomorrow afternoon to 10-15 mph, but that’s the only problem for Christmas Eve.
Saturday is going to be nice for last minute shoppers, or if you just want to get out & get some things done. We’re going to see mostly sunny conditions throughout the day. It will be a warm Christmas Eve day this year, with highs in the mid 60s. So, it will be very similar to what we saw this afternoon. Readings will stay in the lower 60s in our northwestern counties & upper 60s in the Rolling Plains.
