We saw a lot of sunshine in the South & Rolling Plains this afternoon. This is the calm before the storm, if you will. Clouds will increase after sunset tonight. That is ahead of a cold front that comes through Lubbock by midnight, or so. We will see an increase in wind & lower highs for the day tomorrow.
There will be some light snow showers in the southern Panhandle counties by 10:00 pm. Lubbock will see some light snow after midnight. We may see that mix with some rain early on. The light snow will last for Lubbock through about 6:00-8:00 am. The eastern counties will see some light snow end by 10:00 am. An inch of snow is possible in Swisher, Briscoe & Hall Counties.
