That southwest wind will be getting temperatures up into the 80s for highs tomorrow. Lubbock will reaching 82°, with mid 80s east & upper 70s off to the west. Kickoff time for Oklahoma & Texas Tech is at 7:00 & skies will stay clear & the temperature will be at 76°, wind is going to be at 10-15 mph.
Sunday is going to see warmer air & will be the warmest day over the next seven. There will continue to be sunny skies with wind at 10-15 mph out of the southwest. Lubbock will actually see the high jump up to 86°, with near 90° readings in the Rolling Plains. So, pack the sunscreen & light clothing & enjoy the afternoon. A ridge of high pressure will stay in place to start off the next work week, as well.
