KLBK Friday AM Weather Update (7/22/16)

Hot Weather in Place: High pressure will continue to dominate the weather across the South Plains and the Rolling Plains into the weekend. Highs on Friday and Saturday will hover around 100° and into the upper 90s on Sunday.

Cooler Weather Next Week: The high pressure area will shift out of the immediate region and allow some slightly cooler weather for next week. Daytime highs will drop back into the middle 90s Monday thru Thursday of next week.

Rain Chances Return: We’ll introduce a slight chance for thunderstorms Monday thru Thursday across the area thanks to an increase in monsoonal and Gulf of Mexico moisture across West Texas next week.
